About
This Project

Designed by multi award-winning Allen Jack + Cottier architects, together with celebrated architect Koichi Takada, V by Crown Group is a 28 storey tower of 431 residential and 159 serviced apartments in Parramatta with sweeping views across Sydney’s skyline and Parramatta’s Heritage Parklands.

V by Crown Group’s 28 floors of residences are designed to soar dramatically above a retail podium, and the luxurious glazed exterior will mirror the energy of its bustling surroundings in the city’s commercial district.

V by Crown Group is a development the Parramatta community can be proud of. The development celebrates the heritage of the precinct and sets a benchmark for greater Western Sydney. Rising from Parramattaʼs most significant site on Macquarie Street, V by Crown Group is a meeting point of residential, retail and commercial, and heralds a new era in the cityʼs built history.

This development was designed to achieve a minimum:

Scope

Meld was engaged by Crown Group to assist with the design development of a range of building technologies for the serviced apartments component of this project.

This project had already commenced when Meld Strategies was engaged. Our role was to develop a technology concept design that could utilise existing infrastructures where possible but still align to the future direction of technologies being used across a range of Crown Group Developments. A key design principle was to ensure that a reliable and consistent user experience is provided for guests of the hotel.
